Cody Rhodes def. Seth "Freakin" Rollins

Thoughts - The sequel to Rhodes/Rollins from WrestleMania was terrific. It should be a match people remember for years to come. In what will inevitably be a trilogy between the two, this match had everything - storytelling, athleticism, persona, grit, guts and definitely some bruises. Rhodes and Rollins went out to prove once again why they are two of the absolute best in the business, nothing short of artists.

I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish and it was a fantastic way to kick off the aftermath PLE for WrestleMania. Amazing match.

Omos (w/ MVP) def. Bobby Lashley

Thoughts - A match that has been build okay, but Lashley deserved better and deserves best in general. Omos has a promising future in WWE, as long as he's under the wing of Vinny Mac. Omos needs some more polishing around the edges, but maybe MVP can get the powerhouse over in due time.

But for now, the match was... eh.

Edge def. AJ Styles

Thoughts - Another sequel from Mania season. Edge and Styles tore it up with another technical masterclass. Both are tremendous athletes who can tell some rather compelling stories with not just promos (especially Edge), but with facial expression, athleticism, grit and nuance. Two of the best to ever lace 'em going at it for nearly 20 minutes can sure put a smile on anyone's face.

I love the new character arc from The Rated-R Superstar. Judgment Day is a blast.

Ronda Rousey def. Charlotte Flair (c) - "I Quit" SmackDown Women's Championship

Thoughts - In what was a match to send off Charlotte for a bit as she gets married, the match was very good from both ladies. The match was far better than their Mania match this year. Pretty straight forward bout between two of the most badass women in wrestling.

The match had some rather decent storytelling and Charlotte's performance was stellar, per usual.

Madcap Moss def. Happy Corbin

The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, The Usos) (w/ Paul Heyman) def. Drew McIntyre & RK-Bro

Thoughts - Great main event with a captivating performance from The Bloodline, particularly Reigns. Reigns has been an unstoppable force within WWE for the last few years and he's stronger as the days go by. Easily the most compelling arc Roman Reigns has ever portrayed on screen. Tremendous work all around the board in this bout.
