Kurt Angle to return to WWE next week

WWE announced on their Twitter account earlier tonight that WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will make his return to WWE television next week in Pittsburgh.

The last time Angle was physically on WWE television was May 27, 2020, where he served as a special guest referee for a Steel Cage match between Riddle and Timothy Thatcher. Angle was cut from his WWE contract a month prior to this because of "budget cuts".

Angle made an appearance via video message on Raw, June 27, 2022 to congratulate John Cena on his 20th Anniversary.
